Nitro Snowboards

Nitro Snowboards was founded in Seattle, Washington by snowboarders Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt in 1989. To this day, Delago and Ardelt have always both been a part of the Nitro leadership team. 

Nitro operates globally out of its Germany headquarters but also has satellite offices in Canada, Switzerland, Italy, and Norway where they offer their snowboards for sale. 

Most of the snowboards, snowboard bindings, and snowboard boots development and design take place in their Oberammergau, Germany where product testing can take place at the nearby ski resort.

USA distribution of Nitro snowboards for sale is managed by The Foundry Distribution based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Nitro snowboards for sale consists of freestyle, backcountry, all-mountain, park and powder snowboards. Notable snowboard models include the Nitro Slash, Nitro Cannon, Nitro Fury, Nitro Fusion, Nitro Banker, Nitro POW, Nitro Mountain, and the Nitro Fintwin.

Nitro snowboards also owns two outerwear brands – Nitro Outerwear and L1. While Nitro outerwear focuses on snowboard jackets, snowboard pants, and apparel for men and women,  L1 outerwear is more fashion-forward snowboard outerwear.

Nitro Snowboards have produced many snowboard videos featuring their team riders such as the titles ‘Hyped’, ‘The Bad Seeds’ and ‘Down to Earth’.
